Nikki Taylor hit 14 kills and the Rainbow Wahine swept Texas A&M 25-22, 25-19, 25-20 on Saturday in College Station, Texas, to reach the NCAA regionals.

In the round of 16, Hawaii (28-1) will face Penn State on Friday in Des Moines, Iowa, in what will be the program’s 28th trip to regionals.

Playing on the Aggies’ home court, Kalei Greeley ripped 10 kills without an error and Olivia Magill tallied 10 kills with five blocks as the Wahine won their 23rd match in a row and had a much easier time of it then they did in squeaking past Texas Christian in the first round.

Hawaii outblocked the Aggies 12-6 and outhit the SEC champion .349-.214.

Hawaii finished the regular season ranked seventh, one spot above Penn State (28-5).
